Wifi and why?

Thursday 4th November
Lazy morning, especially after yesterday and time to update blog. It is challenging to do this I have found as my senses are assaulted every day, some of which may interest, and others which are just how it is and difficult to wordsmith. The Fresco’s coffee shop chain here as with many restaurants, cafes and hotels offer free wifi. It is seen as a way of enticing you in for a Frappuccino whilst you surf. Works for me and their salads are awesome. It has been a funny day today. I can sit and do not much for a while but then get itchy to get out there and do something.
We decided to finish the day by going to S21 the interrogation centre through which 20000 people passed, many died through torture, many others went onto the Killing Fields and only 7 survived. Men, women, children and babies all locked away behind the hastily built wall dividers of what was prior to 1975 a high school. I will leave the photos to tell the story as whilst I was not as affected as in the killing fields, I found the renovation of the prison to be completely at odds with preservation of what is  legacy of inhumane activity.

Tomorrow we are going to experience the roads of Cambodia for the first time in the saddle. G got a boat into Phnom Penh so has yet to ride any distance but has cycled the entire length of the city…
